Open for Business not working!!!

Ok, when I bought Pets, it said that I had "unistalled Open For Business"
and didn't work. How do I fix this? Do I need to un-install Pets &
Seasons to load it again? If so, can I save my house & whatnot so that I
don't lose it?

I had taken a short break from Sims when I was recovering from a surgery,
but now I'm playing again and really miss OfB.

Expansion packs can be installed in any order you want, so no, you do not
have to uninstall anything to try reinstalling it. You should always make
backups of your My Documents/EA Games folder from time to time just as a
general rule, or at least of your Downloads and Neighborhoods folders, the
Collections folder if you've made any collections, the config folder if
you've got a userstartup.cheat file going, that sort of thing. Also, make
it a habit to delete groups.cache in that folder from time to time. The
game will regenerate it fresh and sometimes that helps a multitude of
problems.
