Post subject: Onyxia buffed... or bugged?

We did onyxia today, and normally she doesnt get to deep breath at all in
phase 3 because we have to much dps, but today she must have breathed at
least 10 times, and whats more the lava from the floor was rising in phase
2.
We killed her first try, but half our raid was dead at the end of phase 2.
I wonder if this is a bug or an intended buff. Was gonna check out the WOW
forums, but the site seems to be down now. |

At least thats for us.
Yes we got problems too, deep breaths every 5 - 15 secs is a bit too much,
though every try we did (did 3 total before too many ppl left) we got closer
to getting her down (so far we know only 1 guild that "maybe" took her down,
head was in orgrimmar but they refused to say what loot dropped (head can be
kept to handin every day)). So far I know, there's no response yet from
blizz itself, but I think it's both a bug and a buff. Don't think it's
intended that she fireballs ppl at the entrance of the cave and deep breaths
off 25k are a bit too much as well Also heared on the forums that she
didn't give any loot and that ppl get disconnected at 1%, so I think they
will fix it again (heared there's a hotfix coming next week) |

Updating myself : just found it on forums
After reviewing the concerns posted since the patch went live, and through
internal investigation, an unintentional change was discovered in the Onyxia
encounter concerning increased frequency of her Deep Breath ability. A fix
to reduce the frequency of the Deep Breath ability has been implemented. >> Stay informed about: Onyxia buffed... or bugged? |

Well, grats to him ...
We tried her three times yesterday and got her down to about 40% (start
of phase 3). But her very frequent deep breaths were just too much,
usually you couldn't avoid more than the first 3-4 and then she
one-hitted you. Or some whelps flew around because the bomber troops
were down.
We decided to leave it be for that time and to get some more fire
resistance.
On the other hand, the MC run yesterday was pretty fun. We pushed as far
as we could because the instance seems to be timing out today (/raidinfo
tells us that at least) and so we hope to do the bosses again this week.

My guild downed her for the 2nd time ever last night, deep-breath bug
included.
This revealed the other, more annoying bug; when she's killed many
people get disconnected, and the corpse (and all loot) dissappears.
Which is a little annoying, to say the least. 
Apparently both the excess deep breath and the disappearing corpse
have been confired by Blizzard as bugs, and will be fixed ASAP.

Thats for sure. I know of a cople of MC guilds on our server that wiped and
gave up.
We're a post BWL guild, and over half our raid was wiped out in phase 2. New
onyxia makes nefarian look like a wimp.

Disconnects have been a problem since the patch. Apparently there are a few
rendering glitches that cause disconnects. Many people have reported
getting discoed when stuck in a corner, after a long fall, or when a
certain video effect happens. I haven't seen it much, but I did have one
freeze simply stepping off the boat in Theramore, and the same thing
happened to two other people on the boat too. *

You can avoid them if you know where to stand! I avoided about 20 in our
attempt, we got her down to 5%.

To the side. The breath goes straight throgh the middle of the room
from where she's currently hovering.
BTW: If you stand far apart from each other during phase two and DON'T
MOVE she won't breathe so much. Before the patch we managed many
times to kill her without her breathing even once.
