First, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this kind of post. If
so, let me know and I'll cease.

Second, if you know of any other gaming tools like the one I'm going to
mention below, please let me know so I can check it out as well.

I assume most of you probably already know about OpenRPG <
http://www.openrpg.com >, but for those few who don't, go have a look at it.

"OpenRPG is an Internet application that allows people to play Role
Playing Games in real-time over the Internet. OpenRPG is free, open
source, software, distributed under GNU/GPL license."

Why am I posting this? It's actually for a very selfish reason. If I
can get more gamers and GMs/DMs/Story-Tellers using the system, I'll
have a better chance of finding and joining an online game of the
type(s) I like and time(s) I can play.

P.S. If you need to email me, you know what to do with the 'spamtrap'.

This group is remarkably dead; I'm not sure anyone other than me checks
it anymore, and this is the first time I've checked it in months. Many
of the old regulars have since moved on to the forums at White Wolf
Online or RPG.net. You should check those places out if you're
interested in finding other gamers online.

Or you could hit rec.games.frp.dnd, but be careful, you
might get some Terry Austin on you.

Me, I miss discourse on the Storyteller games, but not
enough to use web forums. Too slow and clunky, and they
don't thread properly.
