Mates,

Is it me, or can the demo only be installed on the C-drive?

I partitioned my drive to a small Windows/C-root and some lump D-drive with
Warcraft, Work and Porn....

FM should belong on D..

Solutions / Confirmations?

TIA

A shout in the dark, but is there a config or inf file you could rewrite to
force it to install on CConfused
(Guess it's a no-no since it is almost an installer with proprietory file
compression. But if SI are still using the old one, you could extract the
installation files from the *.exe via winzip and such like.)

No, it's a misfeature of the demo.

Free some space on C, install, then move all FM files on D, then it may work.
But if it doesn't, search the registry using "regedit" for "Football Manager
2008 Gold Demo" and change the old path to the new path (there are about 3
places where it occurs). Also, change all shortcuts so that they point in the
right place (this step is optional).
