Next: Multiple realms stuck at retrieving characters

Post subject: Odd. One character totally naked overnight

Hello A.G.W-ers... 
I had some problems the day of the patch with each of my characters
missing some items (different ones on each). After hearing from the
GMs I renamed some folders and all was well again. (Except for having
to reset chat colors, etc. Minor stuff.)
Yesterday I logged in my warrior Tahota to make some of the new
throwing axes for an alt and a guildie. No problems whatsoever.
Today I log in characters to check their bank and bags for another
program (Advanced Tradeskill Window) and when I get to Tahota he's
totally bare. He is the only one of my characters affected by whatever
caused this problem.
The odd thing was, even though all his bags except the backpack, and
all his inventory and equipment (including everything in the bank
EXCEPT for one elemental air I put there yesterday) were gone - his
gold was still there, as well as money for auctions sitting in his
mailbox.
I would think if my account had been compromised the money would have
been gone, and whoever had it would have stripped my auction mule of
his 2800g and items yet to be sold in his 6 bank bags, as well as over
2200 spread amongst my other three level 60s.
As I mentioned, none of them were touched.
I changed my password just in case someone had been poking around, but
I really think this is just a screw-up with this one character. Has
anyone had anything similar happen to them lately?

Mugged in an alley, obviously, and then amnesia from the head blows.

Two members of my guild (Something Wicked - Feathermoon) had this
happen to them post-patch. Husband and wife, which made it even
stranger. She lost most everything on one of her characters, a 60
Tauren Shaman. All other characters, fine. He lost almost everything
on all of his characters, including accumulated mats for his Robe of
the Void, various rep grinds, etc. Their response so far from Blizz

As it turns out, I logged back in to my account later that day (two or
three hours later) and Tahota was "whole" again. I had an in-game
email from a GM stating they were viewing that character and it was
fully clothed with xx gold on him (correct amount) and that I was
probably unable to see any items (save ONE, remember, in the bank)
because of "latency issues".
I'll state right out I'm no programmer, IT expert or anything more
than a game player. So maybe someone out there can tell me how the
latency issue would affect just one character when I was able to
switch between them all and see everything else on my other characters
but when I switched to Tahota he was bare?
As for the Baltimore theory... quite plausible. He is a warrior after
all. Shouldn't have had his Drunken Debauchery Flag up I guess.

Tansi, Tiomi, and Eseer did the grinding. Between them they don't have
as much as Melen the AH mule. He started with 40g and is up to what I
mentioned in my other post, while also paying for mounts for Tahota
and my two level 40+ characters along the way as well as buying up
through the 50g bank slot pre-patch (and another 25g slot since the
patch). True, when characters got drops I'd usually try to sell them
once, then send them Melen's way so that accounts for a percentage of
his money, but mostly it's the Auctioneer addon. I can't recommend
Auctioneer enough. (Though I realize by doing so I may get another
competitor in the AH game. )

I used auctioneer a lot to play with the market as well, but stopped
when my first toon hit 40 or so. Though, I'd say the most profit that
I made was from swiftness potions. There were times when I could sell
a stack of those for around 7g or so.
After getting my first mount, I noticed that I really didn't require
that much. I'm happy with my 400g or right now. Not sure what i'd do
with couple thousand Gs
