If you follow the link and look at the text there, it says "13rd" not
"13th". I'll bet the typist ment to type "23rd" which would be 'bout a
week later.

Don't you find it odd that Microsoft has not issued a press release about
going Gold along with the release dates?

Apparently there's a release party going on in Bristol on the 14th, and
software retailers will be there selling copies, so I think it's legit.
