It appears that Obsidian has decided to kill PWs for NWN2 be requiring
that players download and maintain the full module to be able to play
on it. This mean, of course, that all players will be able to take
apart the module to see where are the secrets are hidden and such. It
also means that you will no longer be able to casually drop in on a PW
to see if the gameplay is to your taste, now you will have to download
the module before you can try it out.

This definitely won't be a problem for the people I play with. Only a
fool would spoil his own enjoyment of a module by reading the code,
only a fool, that is, who knows enough to read code. And likely, very
few of the people I want to play with will be so foolish. Not to
mention, it would be a dead give-away, so quicky we could just drop
them out of the team and banish their fool selves.

I dont know about primarily but they are allegedly focusing more on the
single player aspect this time around since pretty much everyone though the
single player campaign in the original NWN was utter dogshit, especially
coming after BG2.

See, to me it's not that the campaign was bad, which it was, but coming
from a game like BG1/2 in which every PC you could add to your group of
6 had a different personality, with PCs talking to each other and
having different side-stories and even sometimes refusing to be in your
group if other people were there or if your actions were too different
than their liking, then going into NWN where you could have 1 henchman
who was nothing more than a bag of stats, that killed it for me.

Is this his first game since Planscape? I think he worked on other
stuff but I remember him saying in an interview after Planscape came
out that he wanted to do other things not gaming related.
