ROFLMAO! Beaten by an old granny...hope you're enjoying the game overall
though. Maybe next time you can play a decent monster class, like maybe a
Troll? ;-p

Hey, can I play? I'm having a hard time finding my first message ever, but
here are some from my very earliest days:

To answer your titular question (for the benefit of other users who may
be experiencing problems with their copies) there are two places you can
check for 'unofficial patches'.

One of them is BaulderDash...

http://www.baldurdash.org/

with bugfixes for the base program, KotN, Shivering Isles and the
official plug-ins...

and the other is Planet Elder Scrolls

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/

which has other helpful mods (ie Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul) as well.

Just click the button for [Oblivion] either near the top of the page or
in the menu at the left hand side.

Scroll down the page until you see some 'Downloads'

Click 'Mods'

and you should see a list of all the mods available.

Select the [Bugfixes] option in the 'menu' near the top left side of the
screen and tell the site to [GO] to that list. You should see everything
necessary to fix your current problem and any others that may arise.

Download them.
Install them.
Have fun.

Happy Holidays.

Signed,
Warewolf
who hopes that the official plug-ins will be made available to the public
as a 'Christmas Gift' (particularly to those who were disappointed with
their 'Game of the Year' editions). }:^)

I'm on record as late '96, though I know that's just the year I started
with the current ISP & using Nostromo as my nick:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg/browse_thread...read/d3
(And I was so polite back then <wistful sigh>)

Not telling who I was before then though Smile

Man that was a long time ago. Depressing. I'm going to have to
chase some kids off of my lawn to cheer myself up.
