Oblivion finished already!? - Looking on the Elder Scrolls Source site earlier and noticed that someone who had auther one had finished the game at level 31. I only got my copy Thursday and have reached level 4 but then again I have installed a mod to make it twice as hard to level..

Finished :) - Took me almost 2 full weekends plus weekday evenings, but finally finished the game as my first char. Ended up at lvl 30, archmage and grand arena champion. Will leave thief's and guilds for my second char. One thing,..

What level were you when you finished the game? - Hey all, I'm just curious what the average level is for finishing the game. I'm level 20 and haven't even started the main quest (except for the amulet to the priory). I'm in the mages guild and have done all the quest and one..

I NEED HELP WITH OBLIVION - where do i find ruin tail after he leaves and i find his journal i dont know where he goes.

I saw Oblivion! - yeah, this dude from Oblivia that country in south or wait, nevermind it's Bolivia :) So I guess he's a Bolivion? oh the wait the wait!!!

With SI and the new patch out is Oblivion over, or will there be another
expansion?

My guess, and it's just a guess, that since you can actually run from Anvil
to Leyawiin THROUGH the proviences of Elsweyr and Valenwood and the terrain
is generated (but no wildlife or quest sites), that the groundwork has been
laid down for at least one more expansion.

Unless they change their minds, this is the last of the expansions. There
might be another DLC plugin, if I remember what I read. I hope they change
their minds and make a werewolf expansion like Bloodmoon for Morrowind,
though.

At what points on the map were you able to enter Valenwood and Elsweyr?

I was down near the mouth of the river that forms the border between Anvil
and Valenwood and I was hunting Nirn root. I swam across the river to check
on the other bank, walked deeper into the woods and just kept running.
Until I came out west of the village of Border Watch.

I was unable to find a hole anywhere along the river. Even swam out the
mouth past the word "Sea" on the map and was still turned back at every
point when I headed east.

Are you sure you didn't; install a mod that removes the borders at some
point?

Don't know what to tell you. Maybe I just got lucky. I never tried it
again, not did I try it from the other direction. There wasn't anything
there - just trees.

Is that even possible? For a mod to add new cells to the map?

rjdriver has borders on.

MJB has borders off.

There are some mods that do change this setting, because they use
areas that would be unreachable otherwise. For instance, the popular
Kumiko Manor uses some cells too far east of Leyawiin to reach if
borders are enabled. It's not that the cells didn't exist before, it's
just that they were set to be unreachable by the line
bBorderRegionsEnabled=1 in your Oblivion.ini file.

I wish I could check my ini file, but I deleted oblivion off my system when
Shivering Isles kept crashing my box. So I probably will be waiting a few
more months (and patches) until I try to install SI and OB again.

But I'm guessing that even if my ini file has borders set off, as you
suggest, the cells I entered when passing through Elshweyr and Valenwood do
exist and were created by Bethesda? So are terrain already available for
another expansion - which was the OP's question to begin with.

Since Dagerfall we have several time passed through a
period,where Bethesda said
'no, no further expansions' only to announce a new
one later. And i would think that
the Elsweyr, Valenwood an Sumurset Island are
tempting, and probably will
result in some type of expansion, big or small,
sometime in the future.
