Why?
Oblivion is a single-player game, so why *can't* you simply close or
physically 'turn off' your network connection(s), broadband router or
cable modem? (*) Once you're disconnected from the internet you won't
need a firewall or anti-virus protection, and as long as your system
isn't already infected, running without your AV app won't be a problem.
I do that all the time on my older PC when games like Oblivion push it
to its limits.
FWIW, Morrowind crashed *frequently* but Oblivion almost never does.
(*) Some of the cheaper wired routers make it difficult or impossible to
isolate your system from the internet, in which case it may be necessary
to install a switch.
