Thanks for the reply. It just seems odd to belong to the Dark Brotherhood
and be a noble Blade at the same time. >> Stay informed about: Oblivion- Dark Brotherhood question |

Think of it as being out for the main chance. I am;
a thief
a mage
a fighter (although I think joining this guild was a mistake given my
gameplay style)
a darksister
and soon to be a knight of the white stallion
What is a noble blade?

Horse? Don't put me off.
LOL
I tried riding horses. It gives me a headache. I'd rather run (stealthily)
between places - although I suppose a horse could come in handy to speed
fast travel between places.

That's a good point but I guess I was of the mind-set that you play the game
as either 'good or evil'. Not true?! The Dark Brotherhood only visited me
because I carelessly and accidently killed someone I shouldn't have.

Really? I've done that bit. Maybe I need to go talk to him. It might have
made sneaking through the sewers to kill that prisoner in the Thieves quest
a whole lot easier if I was entitled to be there. Oh, and I missed one
before, I'm also a member of a vampire hunting group in Imperial City.

You do not as in the other guilds get fame point for
completing the DB quests
but you do get some constant-effect fortify skill or
attributes that affects your
dark-brotherhood related skills and attributes. Not
every quest though

This is a glitch, since you already are a blade.
'That is what the main quest in
Morrowind was all about. Casius Cosades enlisted you,
rememberr?You
advanced about halfway up the career ladder before
Casius Cosades left for
the imperial city. It is not as if they have
completely cut the ties to elderscr oll III,
since a lot of people talks about it as a place they
have left or wants to return to.
Think of the blades as FBI with a touch of CIA.
But if fighting is your game, think of a blade as a
version of Sir Galahad or
Sir Lancelot of King Arthurs round table at Camelot

The black horse is the strongest and fastest of the
available horses. Shadowmere is
twice as strong as that (45 damage) and quite a bit
more agile. And with a fighters
disposition. it is as effective in a melee as any of
the companions in Morrowind,
and definitely handy to have in a critical situation.
It will join the fights, and it is
quite capable of killing its target with a kick or
two

Caius Cosades enlisted someone else, who had much better skills and
equipment than you do. This is a new character, not the Nerevarine, who
the Empire lost track of several years ago, and rumour suggests is dead.
If you want to pretend your character is the same one, then you get to
explain away the complete loss of status, skills, artifacts, spell
knowledge, statistics, and permanent enchantments, not to mention the
complete change of appearance. In some cases, you can't even make a
character with the same major skills, since they've changed quite a bit.

Camelot!!!
We're knights of the round table, we dance whene're we're able.
We do routines, and border scenes, and footwork imp-e-cable;
We dine well here in Camelot, we eat ham and jam and spamalot.
We're knights of the round table, our shows are for-mid-able
The many times, we're given rhymes, that are quite un-sing-able
We're often mad in Camelot, we sing from the lie of hamalot!
Though we're tough and able,
Quite in-de-fa-ti-gable,
Between our quests, we seek incest and impersonate Clark Gable,
It's a busy life in Camelot:
I have to push the pram-a-lot! >> Stay informed about: Oblivion- Dark Brotherhood question |
