Is there an objective website that is geared towards multi-console owners?

I.e., it compares cross-platform games side-by-side so you can make the best
decision of which platform to purchase a specific game for.

The big game sites don't really do this. Sometimes there will be a tidbit
if you dig, but usually there isn't.

I don't care about all the PS3 vs XB360 BS. I only care about games. If a
specific game is better on the PS3, I'll buy it for PS3. If it is better on
the XB360, I'll buy it for the XB360. Pretty simple.

TIA.

Your best bet is to check the aggregate sites like Metacritic or
Gamerankings. They average out the reviews of all the major sites,
that way the fanboy scores cancel each other out.

Metacritic PS3 site:
http://www.metacritic.com/games/ps3/scores/

Metacritic Xbox 360 site:
http://www.metacritic.com/games/xbox360/scores/

They list 141 PS3 titles, of those 92 are also available on the Xbox
360 (65% of the PS3 library).

Of those 92, only 20 score higher on the PS3 with 18 scoring the same
on both platforms and 54 scoring better on the Xbox 360.

Since there are so few, here are the 20 that score higher on the PS3:

NHL 08 86 85
College Hoops 2K8 82 81
NBA Street Homecourt 81 80
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 81 80
NHL 2K7 79 78
Stuntman: Ignition 76 75
World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets 75 74
Medal of Honor Airborne 75 73
Army of Two 76 72
Need for Speed ProStreet 73 72
NHL 2K8 74 71
WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 74 71
Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights 71 68
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII 67 66
Dynasty Warriors 6 60 59
Cars Mater-National 62 57
Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM 60 56
Transformers: The Game 54 52
Conflict: Denied Ops 52 50
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer 47 45

That's easy then; buy the 360 version. You'll be making the right
decision nine and a half times out of ten.

Whoosh! That went right over your head, pardner. He's trying to
avoid the very type of fanboy response you just gave.

I have to say that i like Metacritic. It's simple and plain, and not alot
of extra stuff that takes away your attention.

That's not really helpful either. For example, Oblivion was rated higher on
consolidated reviews for 360 than it was for the PS3, but the PS3 version
had more content, better draw distance, faster load times, etc. So
logicially there was no sense why the 360 review would have been better,
other than the game was released sooner on that console (which shouldn't
have anything to do with the rating).

So a 1-3% difference in scores is negligible. The only thing that
matters would be a 4% or greater difference between the two versions
of a game. Being rated higher or the same doesn't matter at all if
there isn't a big difference.

Thanks, I have that bookmarked now. I guess that is the best we have to go
on.. :/

*sigh* I don't have a single game for my PS3 yet. I was hoping that one
would stand out, but it looks like the wait will continue...

Uncharted is worth checking out. I don't know if it's worth $60 or
not... but it's worth a rental.

My point exactly. For those cross platform games with a significantly
different score, the overwhelming majority favor the 360. Fanboy

I hear you, man. I was just wondering this myself the other day as I
tried to ascertain from a review whether the game was better on the
360 or the PS3.
