Urrrggghhh.
Got open of business a little while ago. Made a couple, and their own
business. The woman owns the lot and was tired, so i sent the man. When he
finished and got back into his car to go home, he never got out of the car.
In fact he is not even in the car. The car takes surprisingly longer to get
back to the lot than usual. And when it eventually does the man is not
there. I dont remember saving on the community lot. But now when i reload
the game it always goes to that problem - screen is of their house, no car
for one hour, and then the car arrives without anyone driving it.
Any way to fix this problem???? >> Stay informed about: OFB problem |

The car is undeletable. It says that the object is still in use......and i
haven't used cheats either. >> Stay informed about: OFB problem |

If you want to delete the car you will need to use cheats
<ctrl><shift><c>
moveobjects on
'should' allow you to delete the car.

Hey thanks,
I deleted the car with the move_objects on cheat and after i went back into
'play mode' (from furniture mode) he reappeared next to the front door!!! As
a bonus he still had all of his inventory, and FULL ENERGY. I am tempted to
send him back to the com lot now... but after that i dont know if i
should... ahhh, i will risk it, now that i have the solution to the problem.
thanks again

I read somewhere this is a known bug... that if your Sims drive their
car to a community lot, they can get "stuck." Maxis is supposed to be
working on a patch. Until then take a taxi!

Yeah. It's definitely buggy. Most of the time it works. But just once it a
while it screws up.
I had trouble where my sim wouldn't get in his car to go home. He would just
walk around in a circle. >> Stay informed about: OFB problem |

Fortunately, I was needing a bigger house when this happened, so I just
moved my family. Hubby came back and everything. Haven't had the problem
since. My only problem now is I can't get my downloads to work (they're
from the sims resource, so they should be safe). Any ideas what is going on
with that?
