Ok, I know everyone else probably figured it out but me. Please help.
I opened a toystore and my workers are building toy bricks and toy
robots and I want them to put them on the shelves. I say restock shelf
and he walks around in circles so I decided to put them all on the
floor then he had easy access and stll he walked around in circles co I
had to manually put them all on the shelves myslf and now there is no
interaction with them with the customers. What did I do Wrong? I have
7 shelves and only 1 shelve is active. I priced everything. Or I tried.
They only walkover to the one shelf. And I have 1 more question, How
can I put different prices on my robots? Everything has only one price.
I would have thought robots should costs a little more than a toy.

Thanks

I've had that same problem. I think it's a bug. I also have the
standard expansion pack bug of things falling out of queue. Stupid,
stupid sims... they whine that they are tired, I send them to bed and
they STAND IN FRONT OF THE BED AND WHINE!

As for the pricing; I keep different items on different shelves (ie, the
brickey guys on a shelf with other brickey guys and the tulips on a shelf
with other tulips) and then I price each shelf accordingly. You can
price each individual item accordingly if you wish, but that can become
tedious REAL fast.

Thanks for replying. I do have a different shelf for my toys. All the
Brick toys go on a different one than the robot toys but no one can
access them.

I said this in another post, but here it is again:

On the control panel on the top right of the screen there is a button that
looks like a tag with a simoleon sign on it. Click on it and the screen
turns slightly darker. Your cursor changes to a tag that has a small arrow
to the top left. Click on the items you want to set for sale with the little
arrow (NOT the tag). I think you have to click on individual items and set
each one for sale. I think that clicking on the shelf will set THAT for sale
and you don't want to lose your shelving, right? If I'm wrong about the
shelves, somebody please say so. The item will glow orange once set for
sale.

Each new item placed on the shelves has to be set for sale. The exception is
a restocked item. You have to keep making those bricks/posies/whatever so
that you have them in the owner's inventory and shelves can be restocked.
You will know to restock when a little card with a cross through it appears
where the item used to stand.

You can also click on a button that says "set price for everything" (or
similar) and your owner sim will walk around with a clip board, looking at
everything and eventually you get to set the price (ie. cheap, average,
expensive, etc). And you have to put the items on the shelf yourself.
"Restock" means just that - replace stock that has already been sold.

HTH!

If you click on the shelves it sets everything on that shelf for sale..
If you click on an empty shelf it says 'nothing to sell' or something
like that. Way easier than clicking on each item individually. Smile
