I'm wondering if instead of charging per service if you might not have
to yse the people ticket thingie and charge admission to anyone coming
into the building and that's how you would be paid...

I have a spa, haven't played it much, but I believe she did get paid for
giving a massage, and she uses the ticket thingie too!

Yup, that's pretty much how it worked for me. You offer, they pay you for
the service if they accept (just about always do, too)

I saw something today at Paladin's Simwardrobe that might help you out.
It's a very well known and respected site since Sims1 days. The blurb on
there...........

"New Object: Employee Massage Controller - The employee massage controller
allows you to assign an employee to sell and perform massages in an OFB
business. The type of massage to be given can be set on the controller. This
controller will allow you to run a massage business with the employees doing
all of the work. You can find it under Business Facilitators"
