more funny stuff, add yours too - after the arena as grand champ, I agreed to let the adoring fan follow me around. he wasn't any use that I could see, but at least he stayed out of the way when trouble started. he just runs off and comes back when the battle is over. I went..

Funny thing. - Right after Ive stolen the white staff from the ArchMage and returned it, the quest, I went in the Market Place... I went into that shop with the master lady and clicked Rumour... She said her line: thieves..

Funny glitch - I was riding my horse across some water to get to this one island with Gabby and the pet Imp in tow. I get to this island, dismount and find that Gabby still thinks she's in the water: she's treading water in mid-air and when I walk around, she swims,..

Funny theft effect - I robbed The Best Defense of not nailed down, and now the two guys running the store are barely dressed. The light armor guy is reduced to his undies. I am easily amused.

Funny aftermath of Kvatch (spoilers) - This pot contains spoilers for the early main quest line. .. .. ... .. .. .. .. After getting Martin back to Weynon Priory, I decided to make a short side trip to Chorel to buy some hammers and repair my there might be more, uhm, sudden..

So there I was just starting the final Thieves Guild quest, being briefed by
the Gray Fox.
He was telling me what to do and how this 'ultimate heist' was going to turn
us both into well-respected uber-thieves amongst the thieving community.
There would be no better thieves than us. We would be admired by all as the
thieves who managed to pull off the best heist going. It sounded great.
To soak up the atmosphere I was sat down next to Foxy, listening to his
dream.
Then the briefing was over and he got up. So I started to get up too. The
trouble was my cursor was inadvertently positioned over a scrawny carrot
that was lying on the table. So instead of getting up I picked up the bloody
carrot instead.
Now, the carrot didn't belong to me, it belonged to the owner of the
establishment. So I was seen to thieve it.
Well, the Gray Fox (Master of Thieves, leader of the Guild, enemy of the
Imperial Guard and the man whose face littered WANTED posters all over the
city) didn't like me picking that scrawny carrot up. Not one bit. He accused
me of being a thief no less and called the guards. The next second an
Imperial Guard turned up, as they do, who proceeded to fine me the princely
sum of one gold piece. And Foxy, resplendant in his grey cowl and looking
every bit the Gray Fox on the Wanted posters just stood there, next to the
guard, and just bloody watched.
It was so droll, I just had to laugh.

Anybody else got funny Oblivion stories? There are so many quests and
plotlines in the game there just has to be others.

Well, I kind of liked rolling lettuce heads down the hill like
bowling. Hmm, maybe I should see if I could set up some 'pins' to
knock down. Maybe some wine bottles. Chaos engine, wine bottles and
lettuce heads. Oh my. And maybe skulls bowled into something. Hmm,
what could I bowl skulls into?

Hmmm....

Not exactly thigh slapping funny, just sort of silly.

Rode to the stables outside Leyawiin, & this Khajit woman pulls out an axe &
starts attacking my horse! She isn't after *me*, & I don't want to get
tagged with a "murder", so I just typed "disable" @ console.

Bad idea.

Guard Captain was going to attack crazed Khajitt, but now he can't find his
"target".

So the Guard Captain just kept running around in circles looking for the
crazed cat woman who had a thing about horses.

He wouldn't speak to me. He wouldn't do *anything* except conintue to run
around in circles. Came back a days later and the poor Captain was still
running around in circles.

They *do* say that "justice never sleeps".

thx

I have a funny short little story.

So i had just come out off the arena and there is that guy standing next to the big chest so i closed the 2 doors i hit him with my fist's and instead of calling the gaurds he hit me back (now remember the doors are closed) the guard comes racing in and opens the door and enstead of hitting me he killes the other guy and leave's it's strange but true lol
