I don't know about MOTB but the music for NWN is done by Jeremy Soule and I
agree it's really well done.

He would be considered a bit old-fashioned as a composer in the art music
world, but I think his stuff works really well in games and films. I like
the stuff he did for NWN very much - suits the game really well - so much
so, I've extracted several tracks and listen to them just because. You
barely notice when a game gets the music right but you really notice when
it's wrong.
