Hi, I have an annoying problem with the math keys on my number pad. /
* and + are generating ^[Oo, ^[Oj, and ^[Ok, respectivly. So for
example when I create a character and try to scroll the list of
talents, I hit "+" and instead of paging down, the talent at "K" is
selected.
I'm running ADOM 1.1.1 on Linux (Debian Lenny), on a laptop, and I
have a newly acquired USB numpad bought to play ADOM with.
The keys work fine in my browser, terminal, gedit, etc, but not in
ADOM. The + on the laptop works fine. I've played some with
~/.Xmodmap and ~/.xbindkeys (the latter more for my mouse), but I
haven't found the magic incantation yet.
Anyone have this problem, or its solution? Thanks for your time >> Stay informed about: Numpad math keys generating weird keycodes? |

You are using linux, thatīs your problem.
You could try to "set term=cons25l" in the csh console you use to
use danish keyboard mapping.
Ofcourse, you could just switch to DOS, if you want an
operatingsystem, which works for such outdated software. >> Stay informed about: Numpad math keys generating weird keycodes? |

Not an answer to your problem I'm afraid, but I'd be interested to know
if you or anyone else with a USB numpad has experienced this problem -
sometimes when moving in ADOM using the USB numpad my character will
move two squares instead of one. I've never had this problem on a
number-pad built into a keyboard.
I bought my numpad to play ADOM also.
