OK, It took me years (yes years) to fumble with the old control system. I
finally get to a point where I only make a couple of mistakes a minute and
whammooooooo they change them on me.. I just got TR7 yesterday and have
spent the entire day trying to figure out how to drop from a ledge.. I read
the instructions and nowhere does it tell me how to drop from a ledge...
poor Lara is just hanging there... I know I am stupid.. I hit ever key on
the keyboard.. She dropped once but I was in a rage and can't remember the
keystroke as I was just hitting the keyboard... So, I have waited a full
day to calm down, and now am in need of medical attention... are there any
doctors in the house that can give me my sanity back..
P.S. I know that she can jump from hanging on a ledge to another ledge...
I just want her to drop...

'F' key makes Lara let go. Also, while doing other stuff like running ,
tap F key for some interesting sights.

Thanks for the tip... I thought I had hit that key hundreds of times to no
avail... now I get to use it while she is running... At least I run a
little better using the mouse to direct her..

While she's hanging on a ledge, F key lets her go. While she is
moving/walking/running/jumping...you get a function modifier with the F key.
She also does other things while in Combat mode (set to Toggle Combat in the
options/controls for the PC, much easier!) and you use the F key.
If you decide to Jump while running, then quickly tap the F key, it turns
into a swan dive.
