Came across this note when I was filing manuals, not sure if it is widely
known, probably is, but for those who dont . ..

After installing the gun kit you must remove capacitors C53 C61 C71 and C78
from the MDS board by clipping both leads of the cap and discarding them.
The game will not operate with the gun without this modification. These
caps are located on the end of the board near the connector and near rows N
P and R, on the corner where C87 is mounted (note: do not remove C87)
