North West Standard Champs 2007

Are you a Champ or a Chump?

If you're North of Stafford, West of Bradford and South of Glasgow,
you'll find the North West Standard Champs this Sunday at Fan Boy
Three, 17 Newton Street, Manchester, M1 1FZ, a stone's throw away from
Picadilly Station.

(Well, a Lowland Oaf's goblin throw away, anyway).

Entry is £5, doors open 11am for a projected first round start time of
Noon. Everyone gets Lorwyn booster prizes, as well as extended art
Imperious Prefects for all and Doran the Siege Towers for the top
eight.

I'm pleased to announce that our judge for the day will be Graham
Silver-Ford, and there'll be our customary £6 Drafts of Praise event
afterwards - you can even use your prize support boosters if you'd
prefer and just buy what you need to make up the difference.

The Lorwyn/Standard GPT Krakow last week was a blast, and for those of
you headed to Krakow we're running both Standard FNM (7pm Friday, £3)
AND the Standard Champs this week, so that's double your chance to
practise, even if you're a pro.
