So, here's an idea for a Norin the Wary deck for multi-player. I don't
have numbers, but the idea is like so:
Norin the Wary
Genesis Chamber
Brand
Hunted Dragon/Phantasm
Chaos in the Ranks
Cloudstone Curio
Darksteel Forge
Blue counters & bounce to back up the spells & create tokens
Basically hold the board down/mess it up/sow confusion, keep everyone
generating tokens for you, then Brand & kill.
I'm looking for advice on:
- recurring bouncers (phase would work too). There was a cycle of
Spirits recently that could return to hand, I forget what they were
called. Also Sandstalkers would be good, I think.
- Other ways to lock down/stall a multiplayer game (in Red/Blue, maybe
White). Like, maybe Total War?
Any suggestions?

I think it sounds overcomplicated. Your deck appears to have too much
going on in it. You say it's supposed to be a Norin the Wary deck, but
it looks more like it's built around Brand. And frankly, when you're
using Confusion in the Ranks, it isn't smart to give your opponents a
lot of tokens. Focus! See the goal and build with the intent of
accomplishing that goal.
If you want to build around Norin, then clearly your centerpiece should
be Confusion in the Ranks. Supplement it with some creatures that
bounce, like Viashino Sandstalker and Glitterfang, and use the blue for
counter backup and perhaps Rhystic Study. Additionally, note that you
can use cards like Willbender to change the creature they target with
Confusion in the Ranks. Bronze Bombshell would fit nicely as well. >> Stay informed about: Norin |
