Post subject: Newbie game 'macaque' on USOS looking for replacement
Archived from groups: rec>games>diplomacy (more info?)

I am mastering the newbie game 'macaque' on USOS. It is only spring of
1902, but our Germany bailed (after deciding that he simply wasn't
on-line enough to play). I'm looking for a replacement player. It is a
full-press standard game with deadlines every 72 hours (not on
weekends). If there's anybody out there who wants to help out, it'd be
very much appreciated.

If anyone has any other ideas how best to recruit a replacement, I'd
love to hear them...

Eric

Are you still looking for a replacement player? I'm interested, but I
didn't see it listed on the Dip openings for USOS.

Newbie question - While I have still to play a game, I would like to know if it is possible to "bluff" in Diplomacy as in Poker? I know you can deceive and break an alliance. Thanks, -- myriam

Some Newbie Questions - Afternoon all, I've recently signed on to a few beginner PBEM Diplomacy games after not being able to find enough real life friends to play the boardgame. Instead of constantly bothering my GM with questions I thought it best to ask them all here. ..

No press game - If anyone is interested, there is a nopress game on the USOS judge with two positions left. It has 47/24/24 hour deadlines. Game name is whit. Join the fun. Len Zanos GM of Whit
