Q: I have a Tainted Wood and want to tap it for black or green. What
exactly counts as a 'swamp' as I am running Bayou's, Golgori Rot
Farms and Llanowar Wastes as well as basic swamps.

Q: I have a Shambling Shell in play and my opponent tries to cast
Lightning Helix on it. In response, I cast putrefy on it. Does my
putrefy effect remove the card from the game before my opponents
Lightning Helix spell goers off, thus stopping the life gaining aspect
of his card?

Sorry about the miss use of the term 'removed from the game'. I have
been playing magic since alpha but only ever in the really casual way.
I am now looking at having a crack at a few tournaments so really need
to get to grips with the finer details as well as the profusion of
cards that now seem to be available.

I also need to actually read the cards. Shell can be sacrificed so why
I cast putrefy on the beast escapes me...
