Hi,
Can someone clarify the rules regarding units exchanging positions.
What happens if e.g. :-

1) England A Yor- Lon
England F Lon - Yor

2) England A Nwy - Stp
England A Fin S A Nwy - Stp
Russia A Stp - Nwy

Many thanks
Stan

Units cannot exchange positions.

Case 1) will end up with no movement (no matter if they are from the
same or different countries)

Case 2) will be treated as both units attack eachother, however the
Brittish attack has a strength of 2 and the russian have a defense of
1.
Therefore the russian Army will be dislodged and the brittish arme
will move into STP.

I just wanted to point out that while #1 fails and #2 succeeds, if in
#2 it had been an ENGLISH A StP, the orders would have failed there as
well, since you cannot dislodge your own unit.

They bounce.

The army from Norway moves to St.P. The army from St.P. can't move to
Norway, and is forced to retreat.
