I can't ever get the dodge to work on the PC during the Natla fight.
To make this easier, I have the trainer cheat set to infinite health and
infinite ammo.
Tough enough to get the rage up to 100%. (I've been shooting for so long
that my fingers hurt!) Then I get the blur thing going. But no reticules at
all. Ever. Natla just charges at Lara and kicks here ass. |

I give up. This dodge business just doesn't work.
Overall, the puzzles in this game were good. But boss fights have been
ridiculous. I've pumped enough lead into the dino, the island beast, and
Natla to kill the combined Nazi armies. But nothing does any good. And this
dodge/reticule thing never works. I guess it just takes more button pushing
than I can manage.
None of the prior TR games had this problem. The final battle in TRL was
tough. But it was workable with appropriate running, jumping, and shooting,
with proper attention to timing. |

i haven't heard of this happening before but i know you have to be quick
so is it possible you're just missing the mark? even during the dodge

In my game, although it the book says you can use the space key to
dodge, it didn't work. I had to use the shift key. And yes, if the
boss touches you, the process seems to stop. Try and be as far away
from the bad guy as you can when you get the rage up.

Oops sorry if I posted a non message, computer not behaving itself at the
moment.
Anyway the dodge in Natla works if you try jumping over her rather than to
the side.
