my naval units keep losing - The AI's caravels always sink my frigates. The AI's galleys regularly sink my frigates. Not only that, the AI's goddam galleons regularly sink my frigates. Galleons are unarmed, right? And ironclads aren't much better. I've learned never to go into

Do units really cost money? - Like archers, warriors, etc. that you place around your border for defense? I see no money coming out of the treasury, though I have read they have a upkeep. What gives?

Civ4 can I limit opponets? - Is there an option to play against just one or two opponents in Civ 4? D.

OK this is a dumb question, but Ive searched for about 20 minutes and cant
find any way to do this.

In the information box in the lower left corner, click on the name of the
selected unit - "Knight", "Spearman" or whatever. You will then be given the
option to rename it.
