So now. How stupid of me..thinking that selling all the armor and then
deleting my 62 warrior would stop me from playing WoW. Here I am after few
months back in WoW. The first time I requested the GM to revive him, he
declined. The second time the warrior was given another chance Smile

The problem is, he's completely naked, and no money at all. What should be
done? any thoughts?

Get two gathering professions (I recommend mining and herbalism) and
level up them. You need only couple of silver to get them started.
Just kill some low level mobs, they'll drop enough silver for that.
You can gather stuff very easily in low level areas even naked. Sell
all of your stuff (except peacebloom maybe) in AH. Even copper bars
sell very well in AH (about 2g/stack on my server). You'll quickly
gain some pieces of gold and then you can buy some cheap greens from
AH.

I was thinking along those lines. I guess that's the only way. I've got
mining and can go to SW and farm for copper gold. They should sell well.

This actually shows 2 things.

First, copper is in demand enough that even with high supply rates,
the price stays up.

Second, people are willing to pay the price.

If there was no demand for copper, then supply would increase and as
people undercut each other on the AH, the average price would drop.

If people weren't willing to pay the price, much the same thing would
happen until the price approached a level people were willing to pay,
at which point it would remain around that level so long as the supply
and demand did not change.

Not to mention, 2g a stack for copper means the newbies have access to
a profession that will help them gear up with large capacity bags and
other things rather quickly. I started a gnome alt and the first
thing I did at level 5 was train mining, knowing that would be my key
to early cash.

If the economy was truly messed up, then only high level players would
have access to copper required by low level crafting profession
recipes. But that wouldn't be a flaw in the economy, that would be a
flaw in the profession design.

I recently deleted my L70 Mage (and several alts). I NEVER thought I
would do that.

No need to buy gold, just gather and sell copper. Is that too DIFFICULT
to understand?

Go kill some low level mobs who drop cloth, grab a few piles and auction
them off, train mining, go mine copper, sell it on the AH for a few gold
a stack and away you go...

Sounds like for your penance you will need go to a lvl 40 zone or so
and kill stuff - at 62 you will easily be able to kill with bare hands
and get some gear and some money.

Quickly should be able to get some cash to buy some cheap but
relatively ok greens from AH - and then you are off to outland and can
move on where greens are better than old world blues etc and you will
soon be up to speed.

And while you doing this - you can be contemplating how foolish you
have been to ever think you will break away from WOW Wink

Cheers
