Hello all:

It's very sad to hear of the death of Gary Gygax. His contributions
to the imaginative lives of so many of us were considerable.

If you haven't yet read Adam Rogers' tribute to Mr. Gygax in the New
York Times, here's a link to it:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/09/opinion/09rogers.html

And here is the one page, printable, savable, sharable version of this
tribute:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/09/opinion/09rogers.html?pagewanted=print

Particularly amusing is the "Dungeons & Dragons Flowchart" that is
presented with this tribute! Here is a link to that flowchart:

Each of us would create a somewhat different flowchart, of course -- a
very different one in my case. But it does help to show that Mr.
Gygax played a role in the lives of thousands of appreciative people.

We'll miss him....

Well, yeah -- I was involved in D&D early on, an SF buff, AND an
early computer adopter who started with Atari.

But I also am married with kids, so obviously I found my way to
"GIRLS", and I didn't even enter sunlight to do it!
