Hi!
I'm at the moment playing Shadows of Undrentide, and are using my character
from the original NWN1 games. So on a pretty high level.
Unfortunately the consequence is that it's not very challanging to play.
Is there any way of increasing the difficulty level?

BR,
Claus.

Setting the difficulty slider to 'very difficult', do seem to make my
character more sensitive to magical attacks. The enemy though, still seem to
be at a much lower level than myself (compared to the NWN main game.)

Cheers,
Claus.

SoU was designed to be played starting at 1st level. Not sure if there is
really much you could do to make it challenging for a character that had
finished the original campaign.

SoU is actually designed to be played by a new level 1 character that
you can then take into HotU (which is written as if you're playing the
same character as SoU.

SoU does scale it's encounters to a degree but usually only enough to
allow for either solo play or with henchman. HotU scales far better so
while it's designed for the same character to continue you can use a
higher level character if you wish.

My reccomendation is to start over in SotU with a new charracter as
you're supposed to.

I had the exact same problem a month ago, and a good suggestion from
alordofchaos was this:

"Teachers today say they can't interest our kids. Let me get
this straight. They have the entire world of science, literature
and mathematics to work with and they can't interest our
children, but Nintendo Corp. can make our kids obsessively,
hours-on-end-every-day interested in an Italian plumber crushing
turtles by jumping on them.. and they think the *kids* are doing
something wrong."
