Isn't that HOTU? - Luskan is the original campaign.

I don't remember an Iron Golem in the original campaign at all.

Well, I'm doing the original campaign again (because I now can !!) so I'll
find out in a bit.......

129hp, immune to crits, immune to magic, 25 damage reduction, very strong,
breathes poision clouds.. a biatch!

I was buffed and outfitted for max ac and damage, no good. I actually
(shamefully) gave up in the end and cheated, I buffed my strength up to 50
and then I could get a hit in every now and then with damage for 1-4hp..
dwindled it down in the end but it took AGES).

Used that, no good, even with max damage + pa his damage reduction ate it up
(and the crit immunity topok a lot away).

Well, he's not alone, there's a bunch of mages, flesh golems, summoned dire
boars, hughe air elemental and otehr stuff there as well :X

Yeah, you have to fight the rest of them. I'm saying the Iron Golem
can be avoided.

Did you make your own golem for that fight?

No - sorry - went right through the tower and out of the top - no iron golem
anywhere. Where did you find it?

Should be lvl 4 after you use the Golem replication rod to open the locked
passage to Rimardo Domines chambers. Just isnide the door is a massive fight
with Iron Golem and a bunch of other stuff.

Maybe you only get him if you are playing on the extra hard setting?

Naa, I was on normal. I faced another golem that was even harder later on in
the same chapter too iirc. Maybe it's random and I was just extremely
unlucky?

The difficulities setting doesn't inflict the monster creation at all.
According to the informations you get by consulting the toolset, the
meaning to play this task ist to create your little helper with the
golem creating machine. Here you get a Helmed Horror named "Golem
Slayer", and it is equipped with a +4 weapon. Under normal
circumstances, this guy should be able to wipe out an iron golem, but
there is still a bit of luck involved, e.g. the critical hits.

That helper never attacked the Golem for me, on one occation it attacked me
though...
