Hi all

Just troubleshooting an NBA Jam TE pcb

When I fire it up, I get zero video (the screen doesnt even jump) but I do
get 3 'bongs' from the speaker, then regular 'popping' (I suspect its
watchdogging).

Does anyone know what the 3 bongs mean? Is it an error code or do they all
do this on boot?

Thanks

or perhaps someone can tell me what the 2 leds on the main pcb mean?

Only one is lit.

The thing is definitely watchdogging, I can see the reset line on the CPU
being toggled about once a second.

How do people normally remove the reset pin on a plcc? on a normal chip Id
just bend it out of the way Smile

Thanks
