Anyone ever managed to get Myst i.e. the very first one, to run on Linux.

First started playing the game years ago on a clapped out box running Win
98 which kept on crashing.

I then installed Linux and have not been able to get Myst running using
Wine.

Have been playing RIVEN recently on an old PS1. Very enjoyable but too
much disc swapping once you get into it.

Any help or comments please.

Cheers

Klang

No ideas on Linux but simply copying all the data to the HD was
enough to keep from having to swap disks in Riven.

After the installation there is this really big directory with
a lot of big files with wierd names, I found the same directory
on the other disks and copied all of those files to the directory
on the HD, there were a few small files with duplicate names, I
just kept the original ones and everything seemed to work alright.
