Hi all

To the point.

Are there CHEAT CODES for StarCraft/BroodWar if you are playing
multiplayer---situation is in the same house over a LAN line, just
between 2 computers.

Would love to clobber my son who has repeated kicked my A** for years

To date we both do not know of any multiplayer codes, except for some
map viewing for Zergs.....

anyways. any real help would be fantastic to this old dad.

Thanks

Um . . . . No

In general multiplayer cheating is highly discouraged and frowned upon.
Blizzard goes out of their way to squash any hacks/cracks that come out.

I doubt he'd fall for it . . but if you could somehow lure him into a UMS
map . . . .

I've found nothing sharpens you up like a few hundred consecutive games on
battle.net though (no cheating required)

Yes there have historically been some hacks that worked for various
patches - but they would be hard/impossible to find since they are no longer
useful.

In all fairness, you could quite forwardly say that you need a handicap and
make a UMS map that way - no deceit involved. But in general you will
probably find that a handicap will either completely make you god, or a more
skilled player will be able to overcome it.

SC is like many games, people of drastically different skill levels can have
difficulty in competing.

BTW - you have likely nudged a sensitive subject for some people - who will
now proceed to flame and ch0wn you.

and perhaps I shall not endure a slow and yet painful death at the
hands of my son.

Hmm, I donīt think that cheating is a good example to give to your son. You
must have SOME spare time. Try playing the computer in skirmish matches,
look up some building orders and try them out. Canīt be too hard.

By the way, do you really think that your son wouldnīt know that he was
being cheated? I mean no offense, but I think he'd find out 5 minutes into
the game that something is fishy?
