Two questions about Morrowind

Hi group,

I have had two nagging questions I'm playing on a PC with the GOTY
edition.

The first is that my char was expelled from the Temple and can no
longer make amends. I can't remember what I did - I believe it had to
do when I killed a few Ordinators while doing a quest. Is there any
console trick to get back in the good graces of the Temple?

The other problem has to do with the Mages Guild. I understand that
this is a common problem as I found messages about it in the archive. I
can't get any more quests :\ My char is a wizard (or warlock, can't
remember) and I can't get quests from fishy face in Sadrith Mora,
although I don't have any trouble advancing. Is there any way to get
back on track with the Mages Guild quests?

I got to the point where I could get no more quests from the Mage Guild and
was told to go to Vivec and talk to Trebonis? (I am at work and can't look
up the name). He gave me a quest to find the last Dwemer and discover
something. I found and talked to the last Dwemer but couldn't get past this.
On a lark I asked Trebonis for advancement and that meant challenging him
for his job we met in the Arena and I became the head of the Mage Guild
because he brought spells to a sword fight.
