Monsters...

OK, I made a mistake Sad

I loaded a saved game after starting Doom II in
no-monsters mode. Then I saved it in the same slot. Now, I seem to have
lost all the monsters in that saved game irrespective of how I start
the game. Is there any way I can get my monsters back?

This is Doom II from the Collector's Edition CD.

Only by restarting the level (either by dying, or by warping to another
level). It is a setback, but almost every level can be completed with the
starting equipment of a pistol and 50 bullets.
