Post subject: Missing file
Archived from groups: alt>games>microsoft>flight-sim (more info?)
After downloading of Crusader from flightsim.com I could not find the plain
anywere. Not in the aircraft folder. Searching my HD gives crusader at the
Fs9/aircraft folder but I do not see him even my Fs9 do not mention the
plane at the startup screen. Who help me out?

Hello Wim

Is there a subfolder within the Crusader folder for the aircraft? Sometimes
aircraft will place themselves as follows
Microsoft Games\FS9\Aircraft\ABC Airplane\ABC if you know what I mean.
Make sure the main aircraft folder ABC (which contains texture, panel
folders etc) is in the aircraft 'root' folder and not within a subfolder.

Thanks for the reply. I coppied the file from SEARCH and placed it in the
aircraft folder. Now it is there. I still do not understand where it went.
Anyway I can fly it.

Question about cfg. file I think :-) - I just did a complete uninstall/reinstall of FS9 as a general cleaning out and cleaned out saved files. I notice that when the sim reinstalled, all the controller button selects were intact and as before. I'm puzzled by this. My controllers are CH and ...

fs9 config file - I can't find fs9.cfg, and my fs2004 doesent seem to generate one, or any new config files following a flight. I want to stop the fssound.dll error message at startup. Wassup???? Al

Missing Buildings - I have RealCDG v3.1 installed on my PC for scenery at Charles de Gaulle (LFPG) and I flew in for the first time in several months today. No buildings!! It used to work fine, but this is the first time back there after replacing one of my hard drives....
