Archived from groups: rec>games>trading-cards>misc (more info?)

I have the option to get hold of a set of these Preconstructed Middle
Earth decks.

Does anybody know whether they are a reasonable set of balanced decks for
irregular play(ers), or whether they are simply base cards and need a
whole bunch of work, extra cards and so on to balance and make them
playable?

Id be happy to grab the set of these if I could then roll out the odd fun
game of Middle Earth, but not if I then have to go round the houses
finding large numbers of out of print cards to get anything useable. Im
not looking for honed killer decks, but reasonably balanced ones for
casual play.

Thanks
Tim
