Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has done the Boeing 737 Flight Simulator in the QV
building in Melbourne, and whether it is authentic and worth it, and not
just an MS flight sim with a few extras.

Eddie

Depends upon time, anything from around $150 for around 30 mins to $300 or
so [or more] for 90 mins, but I'm not sure just how good it is. From similar
ones on the Gold Coast [it could be same company] it is not endorsed by
Boeing. It could just be a fancier version of MS FS. After doing some
surfing around, It seems to me not be near the real Flight sim thingy. My
daughters spotted it in Melbourne and were interseted in buying me time as a
pressie. But methinks might be better to fly in a real plane for that cost.
18 months ago had a flight in a Tiger Moth [No, no piloting!] and it was
fabulous.

We're in Perth but have just been over for footy [Egles - Pies game :0( ,
and will be back in a fortnight [Essendon v Eagles]

Hi Eddie,

"...We're in Perth but have just been over for footy [Egles - Pies game

Just a suggestion, mate - why not save that trip for when the Eagles
have some sort of realistic chance of winning the match?

I apologise, in advance, for what the mighty Bombers are going to do to
you wimpy Eagles!!

Just think how miserable you'd be on that LONG flight back to Perth!
Smile)

Regards,
John Ward
Go the Bombers!

Hi Eddie,

Essendon Airport used to be the main Terminal in Melbourne, prior to
Tullamarine opening. It is still very active, including GA aircraft.

Moorabin Airport has always been the main GA Terminal, and also has some
warbirds and a museum.

Perhaps you could Google them, or otherwise contact them, and
investigate what GA flights might be available......?

Regards,
John Ward

p.s. My apologies again, mate, re the Eagles match! Smile)
