Maximum Football goes Gold..then back to silver...

Wow...never saw this happen before. Maximum Football announced as Gold on
the home page of the Matrix website, then pushed back, not once, but twice
in the matter of a week! And on the forums, the Matrix crew tries to
explain that bugs were found by testers during the Gold announcement and
release. Now, I'm no expert, but I thought "gone Gold" meant that the
release version was finalized and ready for burning/release not that it was
still being beta tested. And as if that weren't weird enough, the
designer's wife got on the forums to chastise the prospective customers for
complaining! It's like a cyber version of Kurt Warner's wife.

Bizarre stuff. Anyways, looks like another long delay if the time it took
to squah other bugs in this game are any indicator.
