I don't know why you say that. I never felt like an 'spectator'. In
fact, hardly ever I'm watching the actual mob my pets are fighting.
While they're fighting a mob I'm busy debuffing another one, paralyzing
yet another one, healing a teammember, slowing a whole bunch of mobs,
directing mobs to the newly debuffed mob when they finish the first
one, etc.
I guess it depends on what gameplay you prefer. For example, I just
can't stand being melee, I've tried them all (scrapper, tanker, brute,
stalker) and none make me happy. Defender and blaster I like ok, but
controller and mastermind are my favorites by far.
