Hello

I am using ET under Linux Mandrake 10.
I first installed it using "urpmi enemy-territory" and updated it using
the patch.
Before and after applying the patch I have the same problem : as I click
on "refresh list" in the server list the sound only loops 10-20 times
and nothing happens. My internet connection is ok so I don't understand
where the problem is...
Any idea?

What video card do you have? Do you have an OpenGL (3D) video driver
loaded for it? The game requires OpenGL...

It's a Radeon 9800 XT but everything is ok concerning the driver. 3D
acceleration and OpenGL are operationnal.
I managed to play once. It seems the problem comes from the network : my
little brother plays ET too (under Win XP Wink ) and as I managed to
play, he didn't find any server anymore... Is there a limitation or a
bug : only one game per IP adress?

Not completely sure, but that might be it. I assume both machines are
behind a router, so both show up as the same IP address (the WAN side of
the router). While ET doesn't have a "CD-key" exactly, I think that might
be the problem for you. Don't know a way around it.

ET works dandy in NATed environment behind router. I've successfully run 2
ETs both connecting to the same server.

I suspect there's something wrong with your router.

BTW there IS a cdkey in ET, it's assigned automatically by master server on
first run.
