MSI installer package issues

I have downloaded Crysis demo (single player and multiplayer) off of several
sites. Every one that I try to install gets an error when it gets to the .msi
file. It pops up stating that windows cannot open the .msi file and to check
with the vendor that it is a valid windows installer package.

I have reinstalled Windows installer, I have reregistered it. I have cleaned
out windows installer. No matter what it gets that error on all of the
installer packages.

All my other .msi files for other software work fine.

It sounds like all of the install packages have a corrupt .msi file in them
and you should take that up with the sites you downloaded from.
