The trick in real war ist to make the enemy unable to continue to fight,
this doesn't necessarily mean to kill ... but this is OT here.

Weapons have advantages and disadvantages. The firepower of the MG42
means much less possibilities to move and a very near angle of view.
Using the advantages and avoiding the disadvantages of terrain was and
is crucial. Being called a noob for that is somehow stupid.
BTW: Spawn killing with superior weapons (dropping mortar rounds in the
spawn area) or killing enemies directly at the exit of the spawn area
sometimes done by experienced players to get a high rate ...
This makes the game quite unenjoyable.

I agree with that: there are servers where only egoistic jump'n'run is
performed and others, where the the integration of different weapons
and teamplay are very enjoyable!
