Poor warlocks sometimes feel left out during buff-fests, so sometimes
they'll toss water breathing on everyone.
Anyway, this buff-fest may have been what flagged you. As well as
entering capital cities or attacking flagged enemies, you can also be
flagged by healing or buffing a flagged ally. Area buffs (e.g. Prayer
of Fortitude, Battle Shout) will not flag you if you aren't already
flagged, but they also won't buff flagged allies.

On a PvE server, you only get auto-flagged in an opposing capital
city, not somewhere like Crossroads. To get flagged in Crossroads,
he must have done some damage back to the guards - if not an actual
attack, then perhaps from a buff like thorns or shadow ward.

Right, Crossroads does not auto-flag you.
Ah, I didn't think of that! I was buffed up a bit, that must have been
it. There was a buffing fest going on in Ratchet. Everyone buffing
everyone. I think I even had an underwater breathing buff.

Level 50 solo to the Elder in Strat? Hats off to you sir! (unless
you're a rogue)
BTW, I'm not sure what the lower level limit is on getting the quest
to kill Omen (my 20s chars could not see it, my 40+ did), but it's
quite easy to do. You don't actually have to be in the raid that
kills Omen. When he dies a light shines down on the corpse - just run
into the light and the quest is completed. You just need to hang
around for a raid to kill him. I actually parked all my characters
there and then completed the quest on each, assembly-line style.

Interesting, so, using the moonbeam, you can go *away* from the enemy
faction city but not *to* it. >> Stay informed about: Lunar Festival, Elders quest |

Not me. What's this about a helicopter?
Priests and mages also have levitation/slow fall. I've I don't know if the
rogue fall mitigation would work, though. I've used levitation to glide off
the spire in Feralas (quest name "To the Top"). That's a fun sail over the
landscape. >> Stay informed about: Lunar Festival, Elders quest |

My priest was healing Underbog last week...
You know the bit where you jump off the edge into the water? (well,
there's a couple, but it doesn't matter).
I get the bright idea to use levitate...
run of the edge and gracefully sail across the area into the pack of
mobs which then kills me.
The chat transcript went something like:
5
5
4.5
5
and lots of /applause
So, my one for the wishlist is: Controllable direction in
levitate/slow fall. >> Stay informed about: Lunar Festival, Elders quest |

Certainly not true about the beam - but just pick it up and ride on - of
course if you are lowlevel it might be harder

Yeah, Blizzards cheats that way.
