If it's Nimski's No Crosshair Mod, you can still use the eye in sneak
mode as a crosshair. Or, see if you have a hud_reticle.xml file in your
Oblivion\data\menus\main\ folder. If you do, delete it and the game will
revert to the original crosshair. If there is no hud_reticle file in there,
then some mod used a different method to remove the crosshair.
To add it back, or if you just want a somewhat smaller crosshair,
download the Crosshair Size Reduction Mod from the link below. It uses the
original crosshair and sneak eye graphic, but shrinks them 60 % smaller in
size. Much nicer.

Thanks Bob for your reply.
Could not find the "data\menus\main\folder", there was nothing in the 'Data'
folder and a 'Start/Search' in WinXp for the 'hud_reticle file' and nothing
came up.
So downloaded the above URL Mods and will give them a go in a bit.
Thanks again for your kind reply.

If you followed the instructions for the reduced crosshair, you now
have the data\menus\main\ folders with the hud_reticle.xml file in it. If
you do, and you still have no crosshair, then one of the mods you installed
must have deleted the graphics files altogether.
