Hi
Just wondering if anyone has had experience of the "better loot tables" that
are supposed to be in place now on the restricted to 5 instances ( scholo in
particular). We did a 5 man scholo run last night and though both Ras and
Rattlegore dropped blues once we got to the headmasters area the first 5
bosses all dropped grey items..... only the 6th (baron?) dropped a blue -
burial shawl.
Then to add insult to injury the headmaster dropped warlock headgear ( our
group was paladin, warrior, rogue, priest and mage)

Went to Scholo for my Warlock Epic-Mount quest. Some bosses just droped the

go there anymore. >> Stay informed about: Loot in Scholo |

I had this problem too. Most of the bosses just dropped a stone and
something useless, not even equipment you could sell. Dark Runes, I think.

Yeah, all of the awful greens those bosses used to drop have been
upgraded to blues, but to accompany that, their drop rate has been reduced.
Old loot table: 100% chance of a useless green you'll throw away in disgust.
New loot table: 20-30% chance of a potentially useful blue, 70-80%
chance of no armor or weapon at all.
Cheers!

From our guild run last week it seems the bosses around the balcony
aren't dropping the ugraded set items anymore and it's only the ones
downstairs that drop them. That's the only run I've done in there so
far, so it may just have been that particular seed.
Of course the headmaster dropped the BS cap which my hunter already has
in the bank - waiting for an upgrade since the DM helm is better. Lots
of other random tier 0 drops though, so I think everyone made some
decent money from it,

Says them, they certainly merit more than a freaking dark rune! On sunday
we did the six alcoves, and got 5 dark runes and a skin of shadow. Now I
actually needed the latter for my epic pants quest, but it really isn't
cool. I would rather have a sellable but not wearable green than a stupid
pile of dark runes. *

Give them to your favourite priest/druid/caster.
As a priest I love Dark Runes; OK, they apply damage when used, but
the mana they supply will pay for the spell to heal that damage and
plenty more besides.
And, crucially, Dark Runes are on a different timer than mana potions,
so they're very useful in long fights. I like to have both mana
potions and dark/demonic runes in my bags at all times.
Alternatively, sell them in the AH; they fetch pretty good money on
Stormrage.
