RobertVA . . .Inquired about my experience with Logitech software.

You asked about my comments regarding the software that accompanied the
Logitech Cordless
Wheel Mouse. This issue happened on my XP computer. I had a habit of running
eTrust Antivirus
daily and SpyBot as well. I always ran SpyBot after installing any new
software. Before the installation,
the system was clean. After installation of Logitech software SpyBot
detected a number of instances of
BackWeb Lite. I deleted the files and the software and cleaned any
references in the Registry. I ran
SpyBot again and it was clean. I reinsalled the software and Backweb Lite
was back. I deleted the files
and software for the last time and relied upon the default software in XP .
.. . the mouse worked fine.

An Editor from CNet got on them. .
