OK, I don't know if this is a bad coincidence or what... but after the
update today... my family room 360, which has run fantastically since launch
with NO issues at all... has the 3 Lights of Death flashing at me. Won't
even boot all the way in to the OS. Nice. Already called MS... a coffin is
en route.

Anyone else have any problems with the update? My other 3 boxes updated
just fine with no problems at all.

My launch unit died two weeks ago. MS had my unit two days UPS has had it a
total of eleven and counting.

Not this one, but I had an update when I plugged in the keyboard
attachment and had an instant RROD. It wasn't even enough time for the
machine to heat up.

Damn, I'm truly sorry to hear that. I was prompted to update and did
it without any issues, yet anyway (knock on wood). I'm not hearing
too many stories about this update causing 3LOD either. Hope you'll
get it returned in a reasoable time.

Quick update... plugged the unit back in today on a whim... and guess what?
It's working right now with no hiccups... and been working for about an
hour. Last week I couldn't even get past the X-Box logo screen. WTF?!!
