Eh. A can spawns on the roof behind CJ's place. [go into the alley
between his and Ryder's, climb up on the wall on CJ's side, then up to
the roof - same path you'd take if you went for the Tec-9 on Sweet's
roof] No need try and do so much at once. Smile

Y'know, I'm not sure! I'll try and verify it later.

I'm pretty sure if it's a mission parameter to have infinite spray it
will either (a): not allow you to swap the can for the camera, or, (b):
still give you infinite spray when you change back.

I think people have misunderstood what I meant - Having infinite spray
is much easier than retrieving a can from CJ's house and other
locations when you've run out.

Thankfully I'll never have to do spray tags again, one of the benefits
of strategic saves. My save also skips the incredibly tedious tutorial
missions.

As a veteran of previous GTAs, how are you finding VCS Paul? I found it
at least on par with VC, I just wish some of the side missions (ie:
Empire building) didn't take so darn long.

Having the hidden packages as poppable red balloons was a nice touch,
and the extra facility on the map which lists marks completed balloons,
rampages and unique jumps should have been implemented MUCH sooner. I
mean, fifth game in the 3D series? It would have been handy in SA for
tags and photos and things.....

Yes, I'd say it's as good as VC if not better, for the listing thing
and for the ability, however limited at times, to swim. Hope they do
keep the lists for the next game, it IS a big step. Can't understand
why they didn't give this one an extra touch further and let the guy
climb instead of that stupid jump, how much more enjoyable that would
be.

My biggest dislike so far was the mission where you eventually end up
behind the big hotel surrounded by gun toting women. That mission
sucks and despite an impressive arsenal it took me ages to get through
it.

Oh yeah, and the helicopters feel very awkward too. but I liked the
way the ambulance missions etc are broken up into bunches of five, one
of the best features yet.

The swimming does improve, but you need access to the eastern island to
complete the "Beach patrol" mission (This is from memory, I could be
wrong).

After spending a lot of time around SA it did seem like a step
backwards. GTAIV will feature a climbing ability, like telegraph poles
and fire escapes apparently.

Funnily enough, the lack of a climbing ability makes this much harder
than it actually is. It would have been great to skip the surrounding
wall and beat a hasty retreat.

The M4 is probably your best bet for this mission, as the Colt Python
(One shot kill!) seems to hesitate firing when Vic is taking damage (I
noticed this in LCS too, so I imagine it's the game engine at fault).

They don't really seem any different to me, to be honest. The air
ambulance and and firecopter missions were a pleasant surprise too.

Be careful when doing the latter side-mission - the game cheats, and
takes any damage inflicted on your water bucket as damage to the
chopper!

It's unlocked at a certain point, and you can find it behind the Fire
Station in Downtown (Western Island). I can't remember exactly when it
becomes available, but a good bet would be the mission "From Zero To
Here" which unlocks the eastern island (And subsequently helicopters).

> damn, thanks for that though, something else to keep me occupied.

I should have said in the last post - VCS seems to have more
side-missions than the actual storyline!

<Shameless Plug(tm)> If you're playing the PS2 version, there's
extra/altered content - a few new side missions, 6 extra unique jumps,
5 extra Rampages and one rampage that's changed location (the Brady
games website has a list of the altered content).

My guide is one Gamefaqs.com should you need it....

Cheers,
Rob

There was already a Robert White contributing to Gamefaqs when they
changed the method of submitting a guide, so 'HappyWomble' is my
moniker.

The good thing about GameFAQs is you can click the author's name to
bring up what files they've submitted.

By the way, GTA:VC plot guide V1.00 is 99% complete!

Cheers,
Rob

I think you can get some cover on the bridge and the M4 is good for
picking off the girls from ways off. Some of the girls also try to
shoot you through a wall when you're there, kind of makes it easier.
